MEET AND JAM WITH BLOOD DRUM SPIRIT
Before you see the film, We Are One, get to know the band! blood drum spirit, four American jazz musicians inspired by W. African and other world cultures are on hand in the BAC Ballroom for this multi-cultural, musical workshop. Bring your instruments and jam with the band.

ART IN FILM, WITH ART DIRECTOR AMY LEE SOLOMON
Join the artist who brought us the animations in the short documentary, calm before... the rising storm. She will talk about how to work with a film director and what type of art can be used to fill the gaps when a film may be missing some footage. A great workshop for those artists interested in working on films.

We have two bands featured in two documentaries visiting the festival this year. They'll be playing at clubs in Carson City, Reno and at Lake Tahoe while they're here. All show times and locations are listed on the schedule page.

Santa Jam VĂ³ Alberta is a traditional Brazilian "jam" band, but with heavy influences from legends like Johnny Cash.
